Karl Lagerfeld Plus Macy's "Impulse" Equals Affordable Elegance

Karl Lagerfeld, one of this century's most notable and talented designers is hooking up with Macy's "Impulse" Department to offer high quality, affordable designs for Fall 2011. The limited edition women's collection will be exclusive to Macy's department stores and macys.com. The Karl Lagerfeld capsule will launch August 31st in Macy's 235 stores nationwide.

Lagerfeld is one of fashiondom's most prolific designers, responsible not only for his namesake collection, but is also over the Italian House of Fendi and the iconic Chanel.

Macy's chief merchandising officer, Jeff Gennette is extremely excited about the collaboration. He is quoted as saying "His participation in Macy's designer capsule initiative marks a very fashionable milestone...Karl Lagerfeld's exclusive collection for Macy's adds a new dimension of attainable luxury for our customers."

The prices for the stylishly elegant collection range from $50.00 to $170.00. Not to worry, however; the designs are classic Lagerfeld, without compromise to his signature style. Easy, versatile, and functional, each piece will be an asset to any fashionistas wardrobe.

The collection includes dresses, tops, tweeds, and the designer's signature "high-collard necks."
