Designer Tracy Reese: Triumph in the Midst of Sorrow

Designer Tracy Reese - Style.com

Once again we are privy to the ability of the human creative spirit to triumph in the midst of adversity. Premier Designer Tracy Reese has dedicated her fall 2009 collection to the memory of her late mother, Patricia Reese, who recently passed away. The designer states of her greatest supporter, "Her vibrant spirit lives on in me and in the lives of all she touched."

At the end of every one of the designer's runway shows Reese always received a bouquet of flowers from her mother Patricia. This year the honor went to Reese's father, who handed her the bouquet coupled with a kiss as the designer received her accolades during the finale of her Fall 2009 RTW show.

Tracy's eclectic designs represent the fashion savvy of the "Every Woman," with bright colors, and a mixture of texture and flowing fabrics transformed into beautiful lightweight dresses, sweaters worn with thigh-high leggings, knit caps and fur collar accents around the neck.

FA'SHOE'NISTA's prayers are with Ms. Reese in her time of bereavement and we look forward to her continued success as one of fashiondom's most prolific designers.
